Summer 2011 Open Mic Nite at Crossroads

Crossroads teens are on the stage again!

Crossroads Summer 2011 Open Mic Nite was held on August 29th. Teens showed staff and peers their talents in singing, guitar playing, dancing, duets, and comedy. All teen performers participated in a raffle and prizes were drawn throughout the evening. Special performance by staff social workers.

Social worker Danielle Salber organized the event held this summer. She coordinated teen performances and advertized the evening to teens both at the center and on the streets. Speaking to local business about the event, Danielle raised donations for the event raffle prizes in the form of coupons for icecream, felafel, bagels, and other tasty items.
